We are a listed government official provider of Covid tests for travel. We provide testing for individuals and businesses, whether you are traveling for work or going abroad on holiday. Our tests for travel products include fit to fly, Day 2 testing and Day 2 & day 8 testing.

Day 2 tests are required for countries on the green list and Day 2 & day 8 tests are required for countries on the amber list. If you’re returning from an amber country and have been fully vaccinated in the UK by the NHS, you only need to purchase the amber day 2 test.

Rapid Antigen Test - Fit to Fly & Certificate

Suitable for outbound travel and if not fully vaccinated for travel back into the UK - Many Countries & Airlines now accept Rapid Antigen tests instead of a PCR for Fit to Fly. Please check before purchase. This is NOT a day 2 Antigen Test

How it works

Covid tests for travel are required by the UK government if you are arriving into the UK from oversees. If travelling from a Green country you are required to take a Day 2 test. If you are travelling from an Amber country you are required to take a Day 2 and day 8 test. Arrivals using the Day 2 & day 8 test, must quarantine for 10 days, unless you have been fully vaccinated in the UK by the NHS, you then only need to purchase the amber day 2 test and are not required to isolate.

Order Test

Order the appropriate test depending on whether you are travelling from a green or amber country. You will receive your test to complete at home via Royal Mail tracked 24. We will update you regularly so you can focus on your travel with peace of mind.

Activate and Perform Test

You activate your test before use. Once activated, please perform the test on the relevant day depending on your test product. Please use the prepaid envelopes to send your sample to our UKAS approved laboratory using your closest Royal Mail priority post box.

View Results

When your results are ready you will be notified by email and invited to view your test results online. Your result certificate will advise you of the steps to take depending on the result of your test.

Wait until Quarantine is over

Please note this step is only applicable to those arriving from an amber country, and who have not been fully vaccinated in the UK by the NHS. Its important that you follow in full the instructions we provide at the link to an instructional video on our product page, the email we send when confirming your order and also on your view order page. Please watch this video in full before undertaking your test. We recommend taking the video element directly from the "Take video" option if this is presented on your device. Do try to ensure you have good and reliable internet connection available. The "Take Video" option is always the best option where the upload speed connection is poor as the video is then highly compressed by our portal and much quicker to upload. To check your available upload speed go to: www.speedtest.net Having a Problem uploading? If you have already taken the video and have another device available, try logging into your account on that device and use the "take video" option Play the recording already made on the other device and record that straight to the website . The certificate you receive is a PDF document, Should you not have a PDF viewer installed on your device. Please try using the "Open With" option if email shows as an option that will work, or you can download one of the many free PDF viewers from the App store. Test kit Performance: Sensitivity: 96.72% - Specificity: 99.22% - Accuracy: 98.74% - Siemens Clinitest EU USA and UK approved. This test can be used for both outbound and inbound travel. We will issue your certificate within 24hrs of your test evidence reaching us, please allow enough time for your travel arrangements.

You will need to provide the passenger locator codes when completing your passenger locator form. You also need to clearly write the passenger code assigned to you on the lateral flow device. Your test kits will be shipped and arrive on the day of your arrival into the UK, using a tracked delivery service. In line with government's guidelines, you will need to test on or before Day 2 following your arrival in the UK. 1. Verify you’ve taken the test - Log into your account view Order and Activate : https://www.apollotesting.com/en-gb/orders Once you've taken the test you will need to upload proof that you have taken the test and proof of ID. We ask you to take a picture of your passport and a picture of the Lateral flow device with your passenger locator code Prefixed APOLL written on the device using a ball point or marker pen after 15 mins. You’ll find those codes above. 2. Await Verification We Verify all tests submitted before 8pm on the same day 7 days a week. 3. Receive Results As soon as your results are ready we will drop you an email and you can download your certificate from your order page

If your order is placed last minute and close to your arrival date we will ship on the next working day. Our cut off for shipping any Day 2 and 8 tests kits is 3:30pm (Monday - Friday) All kits will be shipped to the address you requested and in line with date you told us you are arriving into the UK. For day 2 & 8 test kits UK Government standards obligate us not to send these test before that date. You will receive an email to let you know once we have shipped your order, you will also receive SMS updates from the Royal Mail Tracked 24 service. Our kits are sent a few days ahead of the arrival date and fit perfectly through a standard size letterbox. For the Antigen lateral Flow fit to fly test, we ship on receipt of order, our cut off for shipping is 1:00pm (Monday - Friday) We do not dispatch on Weekends or Bank Holidays.

You should activate your test at the time you collect the sample. If the test is related to a day 2 or 8 this will be after you have returned from travel. If you booked as part of a group, please ensure you activate the sample against the correct person. For the Antigen Lateral flow its the time when you take the test.

Green: arrivals will need to take a pre-departure test, as well as a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test on or before day 2 of their arrival - but will not need to quarantine on return (unless they receive a positive result) or take any additional tests. Amber: arrivals will need to quarantine for a minimum period of 10 days and take a pre-departure test and a PCR test on day 2 and day 8 with the option for Test to Release on day 5 to end self-isolation early. **From the 19th July, travellers arriving from an Amber Country if they are UK|EU|USA fully vaccinated, only need to take a test on or before day 2 and do not need to isolate.** Red: arrivals will be subject to restrictions currently in place for red list countries which include a 10-day stay in a managed quarantine hotel, pre-departure testing and PCR testing on day 2 and 8. we do not sell kits for those arriving from red list countries. Usually, those will be part of your managed quarantine package.

Yes, we like to be straightforward with our customers. The price we advertise is the price you pay at checkout. No hidden extras or surprises. We include a pre-paid Royal Mail tracked 24 label for you to use when returning your sample to the lab, using one of the 15,000 Royal Mail Priority Post Boxes.

Results are normally processed within the guided turnaround time advertised with each product. For example 48rs is calculated from when the sample arrives at the lab. As soon as your results are back you'll receive an email asking you to log on to your account and where you can securely download your certificate. Our lab partner operates 24/7 so even when our offices are closed don't worry your results get delivered by clever stuff. You can track when your sample arrives the lab using the Royal Mail tracking service, please bear in mind the postal service is very limited at weekends and with no scheduled deliveries on Sundays or Bank Holidays. If your results are time sensitive or needed urgently, we do strongly recommend using a courier to get your samples to the lab.

The destination question is for our internal information only, so its ok if that's not answered perfectly, essentially think of it as where will I be when I get off the plane. We ask this question so we can quickly identify customers that may occasionally be affected if UK Government change the traffic light list while you're are away and if there's an impact to your plans.

As a reliable and responsible provider we want to do our best to ensure you purchase the test you really need. Government advice and a countries red/amber/green status can change quickly, booking too far in advance may mean you end up with the wrong package for the country of travel. If the dates you need are not showing, please do check back nearer the date.

All of our COVID-19 home test kits include free Royal Mail Tracked 24 return mailers to post your completed sample to our laboratory. Send your test kit back using the free Royal Mail return envelope provided via a Royal Mail Priority Postbox Monday - Friday (Saturday in some areas) Remember to consider the collection days and last collection times for a Priority Postbox. This should help ensure your sample arrives in good time at the laboratory. Please bear in mind that Royal Mail has limited or no service on Saturdays or Sundays. Yes. When you register online you must then enter the details of the person taking the swab, our ordering site is built to make ordering tests for a family or group so very easy. Please remember its you & your account that will receive all updates and certificates for any tests that you've ordered.

You can check the live status of your test by visiting the Order & Activate section of our website. Providing you have activated your test correctly, and you will have received a confirmatory email of that activation. Then you should have your result within the expected time frame. If you posted the sample, you can track when it was delivered using the Royal Mail Tracking Number provided. Please bear in mind that the lab does not receive post on a Sunday and Royal Mail operate only a very limited service during weekends and Bank Holidays. The test kits are sealed and typically don’t expire for at least 6 months after purchase.

If your flight or trip is cancelled by the carrier or we have not dispatched the kit to you yet - Yes we will offer you a refund less a small admin fee to cover our banking and admin costs. Due to the nature of the tests and the impact of contamination, if we have dispatched your kit, and you wish to cancel your order for any other reason, than flight cancellation we are not able to issue a refund for any tests. Alternatively you can keep the kit and use for a future trip within the next 6 months. In either event please complete our contact us form, providing your order number and one of our team will contact you to discuss these options. Please note that for the day 2 & 8 day travel kits, where we have issued you a passenger locator number, we will require you to provide proof that your trip has been cancelled by your airline or travel agent.
